New Apartments, Clarence Road, London

This is an unusual project of pre-fabricated houses. The units were designed largely by the client developer with the fabrication company's design team and Mitchell Price were appointed by the funder (a National bank) to ensure that the draw-down of funds requested by the developer correlated to the value of work done.

Initially we liaised with the fabrication company to assess values but half way through production the fabricator company went into liquidation. We then worked with the funder and the developer to structure the funding in a way that protected the funder but enabled the project to be completed by the developer using another source of fabrication.

The units were eventually successfully erected on site.

Mont Blanc, Old Bond Street, London

We were delighted when Mont Blanc approached us to act at their advisors in respect of the refurbishment of the flagship store in London. Amongst other roles, we acted as Cost Consultants in a negotiated contract with the contractor Mont Blanc had used on previous occasions to refurbish their boutiques. In Mont Blanc we had a very experienced client and the contractor was responsive to our management of the cost before and during the project, making it a success for all parties.

Since completing this boutique, Mont Blanc have appointed Mitchell Price to act for them on two other boutiques in London.
